ACC Business
AT&T's partner-only brand: AT&T Dedicated Internet, AT&T VPN, Ethernet and wavelengths on the AT&T network, ordered and supported through solution providers like us. We quote it next to AT&T direct so you can see both prices for the same circuit.
The short answer
ACC Business is a brand of AT&T that sells only through independent solution providers. The circuits are AT&T's own products, such as AT&T Dedicated Internet (ADI), AT&T Internet Access (AIA), AT&T VPN and AT&T Switched Ethernet, running on the AT&T network, with ordering, billing and customer care handled by ACC. ACC publishes ADI SLAs of 100% availability, 99.95% data delivery and 37 ms US round-trip latency, the same objectives AT&T advertises direct. What differs is the channel: the contract, the price you are offered and who you call.
Speeds
ADI Ethernet access from 2 Mbps to 100 Gbps; AIA up to 5 Gbps symmetrical
1 Gbps monthly
Quoted per address
Install interval
Same AT&T build process; set by on-net status at the address
SLA
100% availability, 99.95% data delivery, 37 ms US latency (ADI)

What ACC Business offers
ACC Business describes itself as "an AT&T brand" that works "exclusively with Solution Providers." Its current catalog is AT&T's network portfolio, sold under the ACC name:
Internet: AT&T Dedicated Internet as sold by ACC Business (ADI), a symmetrical, unshared circuit with Ethernet access options from 2 Mbps to 100 Gbps, and AT&T Internet Access (AIA), a fiber internet product with speeds up to 5 Gbps upstream and downstream and on-site installation by an AT&T technician.
MPLS: AT&T VPN and AT&T IP Flexible Reach from ACC Business.
Ethernet and optical: AT&T Switched Ethernet Service (2 Mbps to 10 Gbps, point to point, point to multipoint or multipoint), Switched Ethernet with network on demand, AT&T Wavelength Metro and AT&T Wavelength Long Haul.
ADI customers get AT&T BusinessDirect tools at no extra cost (DNS provisioning, eMaintenance trouble tickets, contact and notification management, network usage reports), plus ACC's order status tool and 24x7 live maintenance support. ACC's own materials also list SD-WAN, colocation and SIP trunking as offerings.
Where they are strongest
ACC is strongest where you already want AT&T and would rather not manage AT&T's direct sales process. The network, backbone and SLAs are AT&T's. The difference is that the order runs through a solution provider who can put the AT&T circuit next to every other carrier at the address, and ACC's customer care team (based in Rochester, NY, available seven days a week) handles billing and support.
ACC is also useful on renewals. If an incumbent AT&T circuit has drifted above market, an ACC quote for the same AT&T service gives you a second AT&T price to compare against, which is often more persuasive in a renewal conversation than a competitor's number.
How we quote them
Whenever an address is AT&T-serviceable, we request ACC and, where the client wants it, an AT&T direct quote too, so you see both prices and both contract structures for the same physical circuit. Before we put an ACC quote next to anyone else's, we confirm:
Which AT&T product it is. ADI and AIA are different products with different SLAs. AIA is a fiber internet product capped at 5 Gbps; ADI is the dedicated circuit with the full SLA set.
On-net or a build. ACC orders follow AT&T's construction process. A near-net build takes as long through ACC as through AT&T direct.
The service guide on your agreement. ACC's SLA terms point to the service guide URL printed on your service agreement. We read that version, not a marketing page.

Alternatives
When another carrier fits better
ACC is AT&T underneath, so it shares AT&T's strengths and its gaps. The usual cases where we recommend something else:
You want AT&T Business Fiber or 5G backup in one bundle. Those are AT&T direct retail products. ACC's catalog is the enterprise network line. See AT&T Business.
AT&T is not on-net at the address. A carrier already lit in the building usually installs faster and prices lower. In Verizon's footprint that is often Verizon Business; on cable plant, Comcast Business or Spectrum Business.
You need a diverse backup to an AT&T primary. A second AT&T circuit, whether bought from ACC or direct, can share the same building entrance and route. Pick a different network. See Your backup circuit is probably on the same fiber path.
Multi-site aggregation across many carriers. If you want one bill across dozens of carriers, an aggregator such as Granite can fit better than any single network.
Contract notes
ACC publishes summary SLA terms for ADI and points to the AT&T service guide on each service agreement for the full schedule. The clauses we walk clients through:
On-time provisioning. If AT&T misses the scheduled activation date for a covered ADI access arrangement, the customer can claim a credit equal to one month's discounted monthly recurring charge for the component that was late, after installation completes.
Site availability. If the availability objective is missed in a calendar month, the credit for each outage is your discounted covered monthly charge for the affected ports multiplied by a percentage based on how long the outage lasted.
Credits must be requested. ACC states that you "can request a credit." Credits are not automatic, so someone has to file them.
Read the version on your agreement. The service guide URL on your service agreement controls. Ask for it before you sign.

Frequently asked questions
What is ACC Business?
ACC Business is a brand of AT&T that sells AT&T network services only through independent solution providers. The circuits, backbone and SLAs are AT&T's. ACC handles ordering, billing and customer care for those accounts.
Is ACC Business the same as AT&T?
It is part of AT&T and sells AT&T products on the AT&T network. The difference is the sales channel and the account relationship: you sign with ACC Business through a solution provider instead of with AT&T's direct sales team, and your support line is ACC's.
Is ACC Business cheaper than buying from AT&T directly?
Sometimes. ACC prices are set for the partner channel and can differ from AT&T direct for the same circuit. The only reliable way to know is to price both for your address on the same term, which is what we do.
Does ACC Business have the same SLA as AT&T Dedicated Internet?
ACC publishes ADI SLAs of 100% service availability, 99.95% data delivery and 37 ms US network round-trip latency, which match the objectives AT&T advertises for ADI. The binding version is the service guide referenced on your service agreement.
What is the difference between ACC Business ADI and AIA?
ADI is AT&T's dedicated internet circuit, with Ethernet access from 2 Mbps to 100 Gbps and the full SLA set. AIA is a fiber internet product with symmetrical speeds up to 5 Gbps, installed by an AT&T technician. For a headquarters or anything with a hard uptime requirement, we quote ADI.
Who do I call for support on an ACC Business circuit?
ACC Business Customer Care at 1-800-456-6000, or your solution provider. ACC runs 24x7 live maintenance support for ADI and gives ADI customers AT&T BusinessDirect tools, including eMaintenance for trouble tickets.
Can I move an existing AT&T circuit to ACC Business?
That depends on your current AT&T contract and its termination terms. Ask us to review the agreement before you request anything, because moving a circuit mid-term can trigger early termination charges on the AT&T side.
