Windstream Enterprise (now Uniti Solutions)
The former Windstream enterprise business, now part of Uniti and selling as Uniti Solutions: managed SD-WAN, SASE, UCaaS and contact center over a nationwide network. We handle renewals on existing Windstream accounts and quote new sites against every carrier at the address.
The short answer
Windstream Enterprise is now Uniti Solutions. Uniti completed its merger with Windstream on August 1, 2025, and windstreamenterprise.com now redirects to solutions.uniti.com. Uniti Solutions sells managed network services (SD-WAN, SD-Branch powered by Meraki, Cloud Connect, cellular broadband), security (SASE, SSE, managed security) and voice (SIP trunking, Teams calling, OfficeSuite, Talkdesk-powered contact center). Uniti has told investors the business is not core to its fiber strategy and that it is winding down low-value legacy and TDM services, so existing Windstream customers should review their contracts before renewal rather than letting them roll.

What Windstream Enterprise offers
Under the Uniti Solutions name, the former Windstream Enterprise business sells three groups of services to mid-size and large organizations:
Internet and connectivity. Managed SD-WAN, SD-Branch (cloud-managed networking and security powered by Meraki), LAN services, Cloud Connect to the major clouds, cellular broadband over 5G for remote or backup sites, and customer access management. Uniti markets these with no metered usage or data caps.
Security and compliance. SASE, SSE and managed security with real-time threat detection and a response team. Windstream Enterprise was named Cato Networks' 2024 service provider partner of the year, and its SASE service won a 2024 Gold Stevie award.
Voice and communications. SIP trunking, voice calling for Microsoft Teams, OfficeSuite HD Meeting, Secure eFax, and contact center (CCaaS) powered by Talkdesk.
The dedicated fiber underneath many of these services now sits with Uniti's other brands: Uniti Fiber for business fiber, Uniti Wholesale for carriers and large enterprises, and Kinetic for homes and small businesses. See our Uniti Fiber page for the network.
Where they are strongest
Uniti Solutions' strength is managed services across many sites: retail chains, restaurants, banks, healthcare groups and state and local government that want one provider to run SD-WAN, security and voice across a national footprint. Its access network reaches beyond Uniti's own fiber through partners, so it can manage a multi-site network that no single fiber carrier covers.
In the former Windstream local markets, where Kinetic is the incumbent, the combination of Kinetic access and Uniti Solutions management is often the simplest option for organizations with many small sites.
How we quote them
For new circuits in the former Windstream territory, we quote dedicated fiber through Uniti Fiber or Uniti Wholesale; see the Uniti Fiber page. For managed SD-WAN, SASE and voice, we quote Uniti Solutions next to other managed providers and carriers.
Where a business already holds a Windstream Enterprise contract, we handle renewals and upgrades on that account. Before anything renews, we check three things:
Which services are legacy. Uniti has said it is winding down low-value legacy and TDM services. If your account still has T1s, copper circuits or older voice products, we find out what Uniti plans for them and price the replacement before the carrier sets the timeline.
Renewal and notice terms. Many Windstream-era agreements renew automatically. We find the notice window so you do not lose leverage by missing it. See Renewing a Windstream Enterprise contract after the Uniti merger.
What the access underneath is. A managed SD-WAN site may ride Uniti fiber, Kinetic broadband or a third-party circuit. We check, because it decides what you can upgrade and who fixes it.

Alternatives
When another carrier fits better
You only need internet, not a managed service. A dedicated fiber circuit from Uniti Fiber, Lumen, Spectrum Business or Comcast Business, with SD-WAN you manage or buy separately, is often cheaper.
Your sites are mostly outside the former Windstream markets. AT&T Business, Verizon Business or Lumen may cover more of them on their own networks.
You want aggregated multi-carrier access for many small sites. Granite and BCN Telecom specialize in managing many carriers on one bill.
You are replacing copper POTS lines. Granite and BCN Telecom are worth pricing next to Uniti Solutions for POTS replacement.

Frequently asked questions
What happened to Windstream Enterprise?
Windstream merged with Uniti on August 1, 2025. The enterprise business now operates as Uniti Solutions, and windstreamenterprise.com redirects to solutions.uniti.com. Uniti Solutions' president previously led Windstream Enterprise and Kinetic Business. The customer portal is now called U Connect.
Is Windstream Enterprise still in business?
Yes, under the Uniti Solutions name. It still sells managed SD-WAN, SASE, UCaaS and contact center services, and existing customers are supported. Uniti has said it is winding down some low-value legacy and TDM services, so older products on an account are the ones to watch.
Will my Windstream Enterprise contract change?
A merger does not rewrite the terms of a signed contract by itself; your agreement continues until it expires or renews. What changes is what is offered at renewal. Read your renewal and notice terms now, and ask Uniti in writing what it plans for any legacy circuits or voice products on your account.
How do I contact Windstream Enterprise support?
Uniti Solutions lists 1-800-600-5050 for support and the U Connect customer portal for account management, tickets and training. The portal login still runs on windstream.com addresses.
Is Uniti Solutions the same as Uniti Fiber?
No. Both belong to Uniti Group, but Uniti Fiber sells business fiber connectivity, mostly in the Southeast, while Uniti Solutions (the former Windstream Enterprise) sells managed network, security and voice services. They have separate sales teams and contracts.
Does Windstream Enterprise still sell SD-WAN and SASE?
Yes. Uniti Solutions sells managed SD-WAN, SD-Branch powered by Meraki, SASE and SSE. Windstream Enterprise was Cato Networks' 2024 service provider partner of the year, which is a good sign of depth on Cato-based SASE.
What is Kinetic Business?
Kinetic is the Windstream consumer and small-business internet brand, now part of Uniti. It serves about 1,400 markets across 18 states. For a small office in Kinetic territory, Kinetic Business can be a primary or backup circuit; for a larger site, compare it with dedicated fiber.
